Oilers Capture 2025 STHL Stanley Cup

The Edmonton Oilers have won the STHL Stanley Cup!!!!

The Oilers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in 5 Games.  Took a full 7 games to get to the finals, then made sure  once they reached the finals, they got it over as quick as they could against a very good Bolts team.   Edmonton finished with 16 Wins and 9 losses in the playoffs.   

Conn Smyth was awarded to Conner McDavid.  There were some close runners up though!

"What a great feeling this is, I'm so proud of everyone on this team, it takes a group effort.  But a huge honor to get the Conn Smythe, but more importantly finally getting the Stanley Cup.  A dream come true, and hopefully there are more in the future!  Words can't really explain the amount of emotion and joy this is right now.  One of the best days of my life!!"  Says McDavid. Who finished with 10 goals, 10 assists and a + 1.  Had a great game 5 to wrap things up.

Skinner played a solid in these playoffs posting a .912 Save Percentage and a 2.20 Goals against Average, along with 15 wins.

Batherson who could of easily won Conn Snyth had the same amount of points and 3 Game Winners for the Oilers!  He was a key pick up from the Sens and formed a very good 3rd line.  They had a great plus minus between all 3 of them.  Batherson had 12 goals, 8 assists and a + 11.     He played with Jenner and Haula, who were exellent in the playoffs finishing with +11 and + 10 respectively along with racking up some points to help the Oil!
