Stars tap Glen Gulutzan as head coach

(AP) DALLAS. The Dallas Stars, underachievers in the past season, have hired Glen Gulutzan for their vacant head coach position. 

Gulutzan coached the Stars a decade earlier but was let go after two seasons.  Team owner Gary Brown heralded this most recent move, telling reporters, "We have an incredibly talented roster that is vastly superior to our competition in all aspects of the game--offense, defense, and goaltending.  For the past two seasons the team has failed to reach our expectations to win the championship.  The organization sincerely believes we have now the right man to lead us to the next higher level and that is Glen Gulutzan."
