Edmonton Oilers are Stanley Cup Champions!

The Edmonton Oilers are your 2026 STHL Champions! They are the 1st team in League history to Win Back to Back Cups! They are also just 1 of 2 teams to have 2 Stanley Cups in League History. Florida Panthers are the only other team with 2 Cup and they almost had 3 in a hard fought Stanley Cup Finals.

It was a big battle all Series long in this one, where the Oilers were down 2 - 0 to start the series. Coach Knoblauch made some adjustments on how the team played and they the Oilers ended up winning both games back at home to even the series up, making it a best of 3. In the end it came down to Game 7. McDavid got the game Winning Goal in game 7 and Stuart Skinner had a great game making 30 Saves. Drake Batherson was the best player for the Oilers in these playoffs, he had 14 goals, 4 of them game winners, and 29 Points.

" So many players played a big part all playoffs! Our top 2 Lines were pretty good all playoffs and we got enough depth where they chipped in when needed! To win Back to Back, its unbelievable. We will cherish this moment all summer long" Says Schurman.
