2023-01-19

Taking a look at the team as a whole, in the 15 games since plugging into the lineup as their 1st line center, the Sabres have gone 13-1-1 in that stretch to not only keep pace with the rest of the playoff hopeful Atlantic, but sling shot them into first place in the Eastern Conference standings.

"Stammer" himself has also seemed to find another gear since arriving in Buffalo. Over the first 30 games with the Blue Jackets he was cruisnig along to a stat-line of 17 goals and 23 assists, a 1.33 point per game pace. In the 15 game stretch with Buffalo so far, hes already at 10 goals and 13 assists putting him at a 1.53 point per game pace and currently leads the league in total points.

It'll be exciting to see what the backhalf of the season brings as he and Sabres look to bring the Stanley Cup to Western New York.
